Mercedes Citan Extra Long

Having driven this vehicle we were extremely well impressed, it feels solid with a look and feel of pure quality, classic Mercedes feel inside quiet (like a car) with sensible standard features, twin Side Loading doors as standard, Electric Windows and Mirrors, lots of headroom, 65mpg (Best in its Class) a neat indicator in the Clock tells you when to change up to keep you driving efficiently, a lot of effort has been put into this vehicle to make it the very best available.

The Dualiner (above) and Traveliner as in the Vito range is headlined and soundproofed and really is a very comfortable vehicle to be in (the closest to a car I have been in), front or rear seats are well designed with the flexibility of the Vito seating arrangement. in a standard van from other makes you need a bulkhead to help with the sound mainly, this then restricts space and you lose the ability to recline the seats, in the Mercedes Dualiner because it is headlined and soundproofed like a car all of these problems are overcome from the start.

Driving the Citan is a pleasure, there really is no need for any more power than the 90ps ones we drove, very responsive plenty of power when required, and of course every bit of trickery known is in the Wheels,Brakes and Suspension as in all Mercedes Vans, ESP, ABS, etc this Van has been brought to the market in just 5 years and not the normal 10 but there have been no corners cut – it has been tested in all climates, but we can all rest assured that this van like all of the others in the Mercedes Range will get you around in the wet and ice, where other makes have made shortcuts and fail dramatically in the winter or when loaded, important in a Van.

And lets not forget you are getting 65mpg from this vehicle.

In our opinion, we cannot see how this vehicle can be beaten, along with the finance Package (which changes Quarterly) at extremely low rates around 2% and often with a contribution from Mercedes Benz Finance of varying amounts, its just not worth looking at other finance packages for any Mercedes and overall it can be that you pay less per month on the very best there is than other Makes.
